Comments on Approaches to Translation

Abstract：In the paper,the author points out that professor Peter Newmark's APPROACHES TO Translation makes a comprehensive and systematic exposition on many aspects of translation at the theoretical level from difrerent angles and opens up a new way for the study of translation theories.Some of the most insightful comments in this volume are those which suggest a basis for a critique of translation methodology.
