By acknowledging the classical fairy tales as a type of myth, Carter' s fundamental job is to demythologize them The thesis classifies the subversive power into four types: subversion of traditional gender role; the first-person narrative;introduction of female sexuality to fairy tales; and lucid feminist perspective. |
