从人物塑造的角度论《魔桶》创作的新颖

摘　要：《魔桶》作为马拉默德的短片代表作之一,以其幽默,诙谐的风格和跌宕起伏的情节给读者留下了很深的印象.利奥,沙慈曼以及他女儿这三个主要人物性格鲜明生动,深入人心,是该作品的一大特色.为了达到这样的效果,作者在人物塑造上下了很大的功夫.其新颖的人物创作手法为该作品增色不少.文章从作者与众不同的人物塑造角度来探讨该作品的新颖之处.

Abstract： “ The Magical Barrel”,as one of Malamud' s short stories,impresses readers a lot because of its humorous style and complicated plot with a quirky twist.Leo,Salzman and his daughter,the three main characters have distinctive disposition,deep in readers' heart,which is one distinguishing feature of the story.In order to achieve such effect,the writer focuses a lot on characterization.Its novel and creative characterization contributes much to the story.The paper focuses on discussing the novelty of the story from the perspective of distinctive characterization.
