An Interpretation of Burgess' s A Clockwork Orange——From the Perspective of Existentialism

Abstract： A Clockwork Orange is considered as a masterpiece of Burgess' s works.And this paper aims to introduce Sartrean Existentialism into A Clockwork Orange' s in the hope that we might interpret it from an existential perspective.The existential themes like freedom and determinism,choice and responsibility,the hell and the other has been successfully dealt with in the work.
