摘　要：《岁月之梯》是安妮·泰勒创作的第十三本小说,发表于1995年,探究了女性和其家庭之间的矛盾冲突.小说的女主人公经受着家庭禁锢的痛苦,向往获得自由和自我认同感,选择以逃跑的方式来获得作为一名独立女性过一种新生活的机会.本文认为《岁月之梯》对女性遭遇的困境和迷惑进行了细致的阐述,对女性寻求自我意识的强烈愿望和勇敢行动做出了独特的解读,体现了女权主义作品的特点.

Predicament and Struggle of Female in Ladder of Years

Abstract： Ladder of Yeats,Anne Tyler's 13th novel published.in 1995,explores the tension between a female and her family.Suffered from restricted family life,the protagonist strives for freedom and self-identity,choosing the way of escaping to live a new life as an independent woman.This thesis proves that Ladder of Years is a novel in the feminist stand,both in the description of woman' s predicament and perplexity,and in the interpretation of her strong desire and brave actions for self-identity.
